Program Overview
The CDA - Winthrop
Mentorship Program is a volunteer mentoring
experience between Winthrop nutrition students and
Registered Dietitians in the Charlotte Dietetic
Association.
The mentor program provides a unique opportunity for
Winthrop graduate and undergraduate students to be
matched with Registered Dietitians in the Charlotte
Dietetic Association. Participants engage in
networking activities at group events, receive
career and academic guidance, interact with
dietetics professionals, and gain exposure to the
diverse field of nutrition. The program began in
2005 and continues to grow each year.
